White Summer Robe

This is Grandma's white summer robe in progress. I found this beautiful 1/4" white lace on Ebay. I've never seen lace this delicate or this tiny in my local stores. I love it!

The glue I'm using is the best for attaching trim. I've tried others, but THIS one doesn't show when it's dry.

Now all I have to do is sew up the side seams and it will be finished! One piece, two seams, done!

Hope your day is full of pretty things!

Kathi, the lace that you have is refered to as angel lace in mini circles. In real life it is used at the edge of bras and other ladies' underwear. It comes in a lot of different colors. The website that I used to get it from seems to have gone wholesale only, but I found this one. It looks like it has more lace than you could ever use and very reasonable prices. I looked under colored laces and found lavender, so I know that she has some. You just have to search it out. There are also a lot of trims that I haven't seen before. http://debslaceandtrims.com/index.php?route=common/home
Excuse me while I go look some more.
